ROMANTIC VIBES:

Deep Blue Sea - 

This is one of our more popular year-round scents, not particularly feminine or masculine but definitely warm and romantic. You could say the aroma is slightly mysterious.  

Moonlight Walk - 

Another of our more romantic candles but without the mystery. This one is all about romance with its vanilla, amber, sandalwood and musk tones.  

Under Your Spell - 

A bit citrus, a bit floral, a bit fruity, this scent has it all combined into one. The hot and cold throws are amazing!

Captivating -  

Sometimes we get a little carried away with our mixing and blending and this is the perfect example. The scent from our “Captivating” candle combines allspice and cloves with a dash of nutmeg. But it's the underlying musk tones that really give this candle its sensual scent. There is so much more blended into this sexy 16 oz candle full of spirit, mystery and energy. This is such a captivating scent that I had to give it this name. It is not one of our “food” or “dessert” candles by any means. Instead these spices give us a heavier incense-like scent. It is fast becoming one of our most popular scents - a sexy, heavier and spicy candle!

Cherry Almond Amaretto -

Every once in a while I blend oils and fragrances to create something that impresses me more than my other scents. This is that blend!! Combining cherry with almond oil and amaretto creates a sweet, rich cherry fragrance that throws a liquor-like scent. All three oils compete to impress even the most passionate candle lover. This candle is gorgeous and it has a cold and hot throw to match!

Chocolate Cherry Almond - Take our Cherry  Almond Amaretto and add a dash of chocolate for an unbelievable blend.  This is a very sweet, strong scent that livens up a room even when it's not lighted.  

Cinnamon - This is a strong cinnamon scent combined with cloves and vanilla.

Comfy Cashmere Blanket - You know what it's like. It's cold outside. It's too cold. It's just a bit too windy. Oh but if you could jut stay inside. That warmth of a comfy cashmere blanket would feel really really good!

Fall Harvest in New England  - A rich red soy candle with a color to match it's bold fragrance! True to its New England tradition, Fall Harvest in New England boasts a slight hint of cinnamon when first lit but give this candle about 10 minutes and you'll experience it's sudden burst of tangy cranberries with a hint of our additional oils - you will detect anise (my favorite scent of all!), nutmeg and orange. Expect a bold, strong scent with this candle and an undoubtedly fall and winter holiday fragrance that's not shy at all about making a grand entrance into your home!

Scents from Our Cozy Pine Tree Farm -   Upside Down Owl Farm is part Pine Tree Farm for those who prefer fresh cut Christmas trees in their homes for an old fashioned New England Christmas. The scent on our farm at certain times of the year is unlike any other. The oils that melt into this scented candle give you your traditional pine tree scent...a blend of pine needle, cypress tree, hemlock and cedar. These scents are softened with a bit of eucalyptus oil for a smooth pine fragrance!

DESSERT CANDLES:

Chocolate Fudge Brownie -  Milk chocolate, brown sugar and vanilla melting together as they bake.  Mmmm!

Old Fashioned Pecan Pie -  Good old fashioned pecan pie!!! Sweet toasted pecans, butter, brown sugar and milk without the caramel sidekick. Can you stand it?!

Pumpkin Marshmallow Cream Pie -  This is our true-to-life pumpkin scent for our fall and winter line! The scent is heavy with molasses and brown sugar. Rich in essential oils, we tempered spices with a dash of vanilla, but this is a rich, heavily scented blend that includes nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and allspice, all in one candle known as Pumpkin Marshmallow Cream Pie.

Salted Pecan Caramel Cake -  You love Caramel. You love Toasted Pecans. Salty and warm in the palm of your hand and ready to eat. Now imagine the caramel melting to the pecans inside of a cake. You savor the smell of the pecan, caramel and vanilla rising from the cake in your hand until your mouth waters. This is as real as a candle gets! This is different from the Old Fashioned Pecan Pie because of the added scents of caramel, vanilla, butter, brown sugar and milk creamed into a thick caramel custard filling. This is every Salted Caramel Pecan lovers dream!!

Spiced Butter Rum -  Our Spiced Butter Rum Candle bursts with the flavors of butter, sugar and spice and, of course, a dash of rum. The hot and cold throw from this candle is warm and thick. This is the perfect candle for our bakery lovers out there!

Warm Cinnamon Buns with Vanilla Cream Frosting - Cinnamon, baked into buns and topped with warm, creamy vanilla.  This is our strongest cinnamon available, and it is true to its name.

WE NOW HAVE AROMATHERAPY CANDLES!   - After receiving several requests, we now offer the following:

Beachcomber (Inspiring) -   A mix of jasmine, lily, basil, lemon, orange, vanilla, sandalwood and musk lets you close your eyes and imagine you are sea side with wiffs of salty floral air. This is such a popular scent in our shop that we decided to add it to our aromatherapy line to widen its availability.

Cucumber Mint (Rejuvenating) - A rejuvenating combination of cucumber, peppermint and spearmint oils with a dash of eucalyptus.

Ginger and Cardamon (Positive Vibes = Invigorating) - Also known as "Cardamom", this is a candle bursting with ginger and cardamon essential oils.

Herbal Tea with Patchouli - (Relaxing) - Full of essential oils, this is an herbal and citrus blend that combines ginger, patchouli, mandarin, jasmine, lemon, thyme, sandalwood and bergamot.

Lavender with Chamomile (Soothing) -  A blend of chamomile oil and lavender oil to create a soothing herbal aroma. Additional essential oils include eucalyptus, orange and cedarwood.

Patchouli and Cedarwood  (Soothing Exotic) - A combination of Patchouli, Cedarwood and Orange with cloves and vanilla, the essential oils are blended for a soothing and exotic scent well chosen for this collection.

DECADENT AND FRUITY SCENTS:

Apple Cobbler - This candle begins to burn with notes of our traditional sweet apple scent but after approximately 35 minutes you'll detect a sweet cinnamon-caramel-apple blend coming through that truly gives this candle an apple cobbler, fresh out of the oven scent.  

Apple Pie a la Mode - A different twist on the traditional apple scents you'll find here, this has NO cinnamon or caramel.  Instead you'll find that this candle throws a creamy vanilla ice cream fragrance with an aroma of sweet apple pie that burns stronger after the first 15 minutes.  

Baked Banana Bread - Banana bread, just baked and ready for butter, right out of the oven!

Blueberry Pie - Blueberry, cinnamon and vanilla are combined to create the smell of fresh, ripe blueberries just picked from a field! Yes, it's that good and true to the scent of blueberries.

Caramel Popcorn Drizzle - Get ready for the smell of butter, caramel and popcorn!!!

Chocolate Chip- A creamy chocolate scent, like a handful of chocolate chips right out of the bag and melting in your hand, giving way to the smell of rich, creamy chocolate.

Gingerbread Cookie - Another fresh out of the oven scent, this one combines cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and cardamon.

Lemon Cake - The notes in this candle are true to its name...warm, freshly baked lemon cake drizzled with icing.  This candle is topped in a lemon-vanilla white while the body of the candle is all yellow and as lemon as it’s scent suggests. We think you’re really going to love this one!!!

Peach Lemonade - A sweet peachy twist to our traditional lemon scent.  I love this scent in the spring and summer.    It's a perfect scent for the kitchen, patio and porch.  This candle scent also makes the perfect spring and summer party housewarming, host/hostess gift!

Pecan Pie -  This is a beautiful butterscotch and pecan pie scent that's blended into a calorie-free candle!  

Peppermint Bark Candy - Yes, peppermint and chocolate bark together in one scent!

Pumpkin Pie with Marshmallow Icing - True to life pumpkin pie, heavy with molasses and brown sugar.  This one is richer in essential oils than average, tempered with spices like nutmeg, ginger and allspice plus a touch of vanilla on top.

Sun Ripened Raspberries- If I could somehow let you smell this candle I would. An amazing sun ripened raspberry scent right off the vine on our Rhode Island farm. That’s if the chickens don’t get to our raspberries first! This is a vibrant raspberry scent with raspberry oil and vanilla!

HOME AND GARDEN SCENTS:

Apple Orchard - Sweet apples, warm breezes and tall grass are this scent's reminders of summer apple orchards. This is our popular blend of apple, pear and mandarin.

Clean & Fresh - What makes this scent special?  It's our own blend of cedar and lemon essential oils as a winning combination.  This is one of those candles you'll enjoy burning in the background.  Place it in a room and for that "fresh out of the dryer" clean linen scent even without lighting it.  Works really well to freshen the air around you.  

Honeysuckle and Lilacs - A strong floral scent, a walk through a Southern garden might smell like a mixture of honeysuckle, lilacs and a bit of jasmine.

Italian Riviera -This is a floral and linen, clean scent with citrus, lavender, and rose.  It is a gorgeous fragrance.    

Jasmine and Lilac -  Jasmine oil is said to be a  natural  remedy for anxiety, depression and fatigue.  The scent evokes memories of summer evenings, gentle breezes and relaxation. 

Lavender with Lemon -   We know that lavender is soothing and sweet but when we blend it with our citrus lemon oil, this scent becomes even more clean and fresh.  It's lavender.  It's lemon.  And it's new and already popular!!

Lavender with Mint - Our traditional lavender is blended with basil and spearmint for a more minty-fresh twist to our traditional lavender candle!  

Rosemary + Sage - "Outdoorsy" and woodsy, we combined cedar, pine and eucalyptus oils to give you a more earthy scent.  This candle is our organic scent and is perfect as an aromatherapy or spa candle.   

Simply Lavender - A sweet lavender derived from lavender, orange, lemon, and cedarwood essential oils.  It's our traditional lavender scent!

Summer Lilac - Sweet lilacs are mixed with just a touch of rose to give us that sweet, summertime scent – If you like to surround yourself with fresh lilacs blooms right off the stem then this is your scent.

Vanilla - This is a strong vanilla scent that starts out light and smooth and in about 15-30 minutes emits a stronger, distinctly vanilla aroma.

UNSCENTED - Our candles are also offered in unscented versions, custom made at no added charge.  Because we understand that some of us are just sensitive to fragrance but still love the effects of a burning candle and the moods it can create.

*CRANBERRY ORANGE CHUTNEY - The scent of tangy cranberries, orange peel and hot apples spiced with cloves, orange citrus and cinnamon make this scent a perfect holiday gift!    It's strong and bold and makes a grand entrance within the first 15 minutes of burning.

*CANDY CANE - Peppermint at its best with a hint of chocolate.  

*HOLIDAY BERRY - We rely on anise, cinnamon, clove, ginger and orange to blend this one.   It's another of our bolder holiday scents!

*SPIKED EGGNOG LATTE -   Cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and a lot of white wine make this scent a holiday celebration of its own!

*UNDER THE CHRISTMAS TREE - This is our "HOLIDAY BERRY" scent with pine oil added.  The aroma gives a feeling of sitting under your Christmas tree surrounded by holiday decorations and gifts!
